아바가 40년만에 새로운 앨범 발표를 예고하고, 오늘 그 중에 신곡을 발표했다.
가장 나이가 어린 앙네타가 1950년 생이니 이미 모든 멤버가 70이 넘었다. 내년도 봄에 영국에서 콘서트가 예정되어 있다는데 개인적으론 기대도 되지만 우려도 된다. 이미 70년대의 활동만으로도 음악계의 레전드가 되어 있는 그들이 그 이상을 보여줄 수는 없을 것이다.
그들이 돈이나 그런 이유로 다시 앨범을 내고 콘서트를 하는 것은 아닐 것으로 본다.
오늘 유튜브로 발표된 신곡을 들으니 곡의 호불호를 떠나서 찡한 마음이 든다. 아바는 인류의 역사가 계속하는 한 영원할 거다.
